Same issue of not charging. When I returned it and the second one wouldn't charge as well I googled it. Found the review that mentioned temoving the tape from the battery. Then I found the little red sticker, nothing on the packet about it. Red sticker on a red torch.....🤪 Actual torch looks like good value.

Have used it for two years as fitter on mine site. Works well Good bright light.

Brilliant torch, charges well and lasts for a long time. Gives the best light too. Found that when I bought it you have to pull a piece of tape off the terminal to allow it to charge.

Sadly they don't retain their charge. I brought one, charged it for 2.5 days and it just would not charge at all. The light went on while it was plugged in, and was bright, but when unplugged it went out. I took it back to the shop and got a replacement and the same thing happened.
